HOLINESS REFLECTIONS

Who Is Called to Be Holy?  All men, women and children of every age, in every state of life, condition, talent and profession. We are called to holiness. Be holy in all you do, since it is the Holy One who has called you, and scripture says, “Be holy, for I am holy.” (1 Pet. 1:15-16)

Why Should I try to be Holy?  Because God loves you! You are precious to Him. You belong to Him. He loved you before time began. He is your Father. You need Him. He wants you to be like Him — holy. We are God’s work of art, created in Christ Jesus to live the good life as from the beginning he had meant us to live it. (Eph. 2:10)

When should I start to be more Holy? Now! Today — at this moment. His grace is sufficient for you. At a favorable time, I have listened to you, on the day of salvation I came to your help. Well, now is the favorable time; this is the day of salvation.

(2 Cor. 6:2)

Where Can I Be Holy? At home, At work, At rest, At school, In a crowd, Alone, in your family, in prison, in the place where you live. Everywhere you can be holy. Whatever you eat, whatever you drink, whatever you do at all, do it for the glory of God. (1 Cor. 10:31)
