ENVELOPES FOR THE "GRAY FAMILY GIVING TREE"

posted Nov 21, 2014, 12:32 PM by Mary Tocimak   [ updated Nov 21, 2014, 12:32 PM ]

Envelopes for the "Gray Family Giving Tree" have been placed in this week's bulletins.

Additional envelopes will be placed on the Gray Family Giving Tree for parishioners to pull and fill with a special monetary donation for Amy and her five boys.

Paper ornaments are placed in each donation envelope. Please write a message to the Gray family and place your ornament on the tree.

All donations should be made via an envelope marked "Gray Family" and placed in the collection baskets during Masses.

Donations will be accepted throughout Advent Season. Please feel free to request additional paper ornaments if needed by calling the Church Office at 342-1700.

The Gray Family experienced a tragic loss when Nicholas Gray, husband of Amy and father to five boys, died in a car accident.

The Fundraising Committee and Ss. Peter and Paul's Parish Council members have sponsored this special "giving" tree in honor of Nick, an active parishioner who was a member of Parish Council, Eucharistic Minister, taught the Pre-Baptismal Classes with his wife, Amy, and was very involved with youth soccer in our community.

The Gray Family Giving Tree will not replace the YMCA Giving Tree. Both trees are displayed simultaneously. Once all tags are pulled from the YMCA tree, it will be taken down. But the Gray Family tree will remain on display throughout Advent.

Please keep the Gray family in your prayers.
