CATHOLIC CHARITIES U.S.A. THANKS THE DIOCESE OF ALTOONA-JOHNSTOWN

The Diocesan Coordinator of Disaster Relief, Msgr. Robert Saly, sent a "thank you" to Ss. Peter and Paul parish for our participation in the past two collections for CRS USA. The Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown sent checks totaling $142,000.000 to assist the victims of "Super Storm Sandy." 68 parishes--including ours--contributed to this effort. To date, the Diocese has sent checks totaling $62,000.00 to assist victims of the Oklahoma tornadoes. These monies continue to come in and will be forwarded to help in these recovery efforts. We are one of 49 parishes assisting in this effort. Our parish has long held a reputation for extending the hand of God through donations in times of need and disasters. Thank you, parishioners of Ss. Peter and Paul, for responding to the calls for help when others are in need. God bless you for your continued generosity!
