On Sunday, June 30th, the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown is sponsoring a "Faith Day" at DelGrosso's Amusement Park. This is the first time the Diocese is offering a full day of fun, food, faith, and celebration at the popular amusement park. All day Ride and Slide passes are available for Catholics at a reduced rate of just $10 (a $17.95 value!) with a special diocesan Faith Day voucher (available in the Church Office). A special liturgy with Bishop Mark will take place at 3:00 p.m.

The park features more than 30 rides, an extensive water park which includes water slides in Tipton Rapids and a pool in Tipton Waterworks. There are also games, mini golf and a Go Cart Speedway.

Additionally, a picnic will be held at Pavilion #2 at 5:00 p.m. for those who reserve and pay the following prices: Adult Meal Tickets are $7.95 each and children's (ages 12 and under) Meal Tickets are $6.95 each. The combo meal includes DelGrosso's famous barbequed chicken and the choice of either a 1/4 pound Angus burger or a Kunzler hot dog. Two side dishes, pickle spear, soft drinks and ice cream cup are also included. Adult meals feature a 1/4 chicken; children's meals feature a chicken leg. Special order forms for the picnic meals and discount Ride and Slide vouchers are available in the Church Office. Call Deb at 342-1700 to arrange a pick up. Orders for the meals must be received in the mail by DelGrosso's, along with payment, by Monday, June 24th.

Three dollars of every pass sold will be donated by DelGrosso's to the Angel Fund for Camp Zacchaeus and Camp Timothy. This fund helps young people to be able to attend our diocesan summer camps.
