In his year-end report, Jerry wrote, "We have completed another successful year of Religious Education classes. Our Second Grade students have received two precious Sacraments: First Reconciliation and First Holy Eucharist. Our 11th Grade students received the Gifts of the Holy Spirit during Confirmation by Bishop Mark Bartchak at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Altoona. Congratulations to all of you as you continue your spiritual journey! We are very proud of you and all of our students. Several very meaningful Sacramental Retreats have been held for students, parents and sponsors in Grades 1, 2, 9, 10, and 11. Many students, as well as parents and other parishioners, participated in decorating and undecorating the church for the Christmas season as a service to the Church. Blessed Virgin Mary was crowned as Queen of Heaven and Earth in May by the Second Grade students. The elementary Religious Education classes concluded on May 11th with a prayerful recitation of the Holy Rosary during a beautiful outdoor setting at dusk led by the Third Grade Class. Many parents, as well as all the students, participated in this very special and powerful praying of the Holy Rosary. Have a blessed and peaceful summer!"
