2014 ANNUAL CATHOLIC APPEAL HAS BEGUN IN OUR DIOCESE

Bishop Mark encourages all parishioners within the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown to participate in the 2014 Annual Catholic Appeal. Since many of the ministries that are supported by ACA funding could not be provided by individual churches, Bishop Mark said that parishioners can become personally involved in these ministries through prayer and financial support. As part of the 2014 Lenten Season, Bishop Mark asks all of us to "give more" to help those in need. This parallels Pope Francis' message about addressing the needs of the poor, the isolated, and the troubled. The Diocesan-mandated goal of $20,078.00 has been assigned to our parish for 2014. Remember, any monies received in excess of this amount are sent directly back to the parish for use by Ss. Peter and Paul. Please take the time to pledge this month by returning the Bishop's pledge card (being mailed to your home) via the collection basket or by using the yellow ACA envelope in your monthly envelope packet. Be sure to include the TOTAL pledge amount as well as the pledge payment enclosed on each envelope. Your participation in this campaign is vital to meeting our goal. Thank you for your prayerful consideration. Extra Diocesan pledge cards and envelopes are located on the Cry Room Shelf.
