LABOR DAY, Monday, September 6th, there will be no Mass or Communion Service and the Church Office will be closed so staff can enjoy the day with family.  Also the AA Meeting and Men’s Fellowship will not be held.

IMPROVEMENT FUND CAMPAIGN   As of last Sunday, August 29th, we have received $28,741 towards our Improvement Fund Campaign of $30,000.  Your generosity and support are greatly appreciated.

COMMISSIONING SUNDAY  Our CCD teachers will be recognized and blessed for donating their time, energy, talent and Catholic knowledge with our children throughout the school year during the 10:00 A.M. Mass next weekend, September 12th.

2021-2022 CCD SCHOOL YEAR for Religious Education students will being next Sunday, September 12th for all classes.  If you have not registered your student, please do so by Tuesday, September 7th.  Grades 6 through 11 will meet from 11:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M.  Grades 1 through 5 will meet Sunday evenings from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.  (Please note that 6th Grade has been moved to the Sunday Morning classes.) If you have any questions, please call Jerry Craven, DRE at the Church Office, 342-1700. 

SPECIAL SECOND COLLECTION FOR HAITI, which was struck by a 7.1 magnitude earthquake (August 14-16) that destroyed their homes, churches, and schools, will been taken at all Masses the weekend of September 18th and 19th.  Our help, is desperately needed. 

THANK YOU to all those who helped with and participated in last Sunday’s Bingo in our Parish Hall.  We had 105 people come to play Bingo and it was a great success raising approximately $4,500 for our Improvement Fund.  We will be holding a “Turkey Bingo” on Saturday, November 20th, mark your calendars and plan on attending this fun evening and win a turkey for your Thanksgiving dinner. 

FALL FEST   Altar & Rosary are urgently in need of empty large baskets that they can fill for the Fall Fest in October.  Also they need “new” items for baskets they are making.  Ideas for these items are: kitchen items, cleaning supplies, boys & girls items and sports memorabilia.  You can drop off items at the Church Office or in the box at the back of the Church.  Or, you may want to donate a “Theme” basket.  Any type would be greatly appreciated.  Gift cards (any denomination) for the gift card tree are also needed. They can be placed in the collection basket or dropped off at the Church Office.  Volunteers will be needed to help with selling tickets and serving brunch, please volunteer and help make the Church Fall Fest a great success.
