KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS “FALL FOOD COLLECTION”   The Knights of Columbus are helping the Central Pennsylvania Community Action Food Pantry this fall with a “Fall Food Collection”.   The following items are needed:  soups, juices, rice, cereal, condiments (ketchup, mustard, salad dressings, and spices), coffee, tea, “Hamburger Helper”, macaroni and cheese, Ramen Noodles, canned carrots, peas and mixed vegetables.  Also they could use soda crackers/saltines, powered hot chocolate mix and other instant drink mixes.   To help with their Thanksgiving baskets, Community Action would also be grateful for any kind of non-perishable dessert items (cake mixes, brownie mixes, pie fillings, jello, etc.)  Any donations intended specifically for the Thanksgiving holiday should be dropped off at the Church by November 16th so that delivery can be made to the food bank in time for packing and distribution.  Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.  Please place your items in the blue containers in the back of the Church and our Knights of Columbus members will deliver all the items to the local Food Pantry.

TIME CHANGE   You will have an extra hour of sleep next weekend as clocks will be set back an hour (Fall Back).  Don’t forget to turn your clock back before you go to bed on Saturday, October 31st

ALL SAINTS’ DAY   Since All Saints Day (November 1st) is celebrated on a Sunday this year it is not a Holy Day of Obligation.  The day is dedicated to the Saints of the Church, that is, all those who have attained heaven.  It should not be confused with All Soul’s Day, which is observed on the 2nd of November.

ALL SOUL’S DAY   Mass for all Soul’s Day will be celebrated on Monday, November 2nd at 8:00 A.M., noon and 7:00 P.M.
