Peter and Paul warmly welcomed Pasquale, son of Jared & Cara Ricotta into our parish family on Sunday, November 8th. Pasquale was baptized by Fr. John following the 10:00 A.M. Mass. May God continue to bless him and her family and may Ss. Peter and Paul be a source of faithful support for her family. FR. JOHN will be away on vacation until Friday, November 20th. If you need anything while Father is away, please call the Church Office between 7:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. Monday through Thursday or leave a message and Laurie will return your call. FALL FOOD COLLECTION & WINTER COAT DRIVE for Community Action is taking place now. The Coat Drive will continue until Sunday, November 29th. Hats, gloves, mittens and scarves are also appreciated. Food donations for the Thanksgiving Holiday should be dropped off in the back of the Church by Monday, November 16th and donations intended for Christmas are due by December 6th. As of last weekend, we have donated 700 pounds of food to the Food Bank. Thank you for all the donations. KNIGHTS OF COLUMUS will meet this Tuesday, November 17th at 7:00 P.M. YMCA GIVING TREE will be up and adorned with “WISH LIST” tags from underprivileged area youth next weekend. Each year, parishioners pick tags off the tree, purchase gift(s) from the wish list and bring wrapped package(s) back to the Church for distribution by the YMCA. The tree will remain on display until all the tags are gone.
APPLE PIES will be sold again after all Masses next weekend, November 21st & 22nd, by Deacon Jerry for $10.00 to help the Queen of Archangels Church (Fr. Wolfe) in Clarence with the winter up-keep at their parish. |
