IMPROVEMENT FUND CAMPAIGN   As of last Sunday, June 13th, we have received $17,155 towards our Improvement Fund Campaign of $30,000.  Your generosity and support are greatly appreciated.

SECOND COLLECTION / PETER’S PENCE will be taken at all Masses next weekend, June 26th & 27th.  This collection provides Pope Francis with the funds he needs to carry out his charitable works around the world.  Please be generous.

INSPIRING QUOTES   Beginning with this weekend’s bulletin, we will be removing the Mission Statement from the front of the bulletin for the summer and replacing it with “Inspiring Quotes” for you.  Please check these out each week.

PARKING LOT SEALING   Depending on the weather, the sealing of our Church parking lot will be happening this week beginning Monday with the patching of all the cracks.   Morning Masses and Communion service will be held as usual but please watch when pulling into the Church, different entrance and parking may take place.

BLOOD DRIVE   The Blood Drive that was held here last Tuesday, June 15th was a great success.  There were 29 united collected.  Thank you to all our parishioners who donated at this event and special thank you to George Patrick for helping to coordinate this event.  

 ELEMENTARY DIRECTOR OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION   We are presently looking for an Elementary DRE.  This is a paid position of $20 per hour.  If you are interested or have questions about the position, please contact Fr. John by email (FrJohnGibbons@gmail.com) or by cell phone (814-935-3349).

MONDAY EVENING PRAYER GROUP   “Whatsoever you shall ask the father in My name, that will I do” (John 14:13).  Come one, Come all!!  The Ss. Peter & Paul Prayer Group is inviting anyone who would like to come and join in the Monday evening prayers at 5:45 P.M. in the Church.  Prayer throughout the day and week is a great way to build your relationship with our Lord!  Don’t be shy!  We would love to see you!

ALTOONA CURVE BASEBALL / 3rd BASE PICNIC AREA   An evening out at the Altoona Curve is being planned for Sunday, August 1st at 6:00 P.M.  We have reserved the 3rd Base Picnic Area which will seat 50 people.  A sign-up sheet, to see if we have enough interest in attending this game, has been placed on the Cry Room shelf.  Cost per ticket will be $8.00.  You do not have to pay at this time, we are just looking to see if there is enough that will attend.  When we attended two years ago, a great time of fellowship and fun was had by all.  You must provide your own transportation.
