IMPROVEMENT FUND CAMPAIGN   As of last Sunday, June 6th, we have received $16,418 towards our Improvement Fund Campaign of $30,000.  Your generosity and support are greatly appreciated.

BLOOD DRIVE   The Knights of Columbus will be sponsoring an American Red Cross Community Blood Drive this Tuesday, June 15th from 1:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. in our Parish Hall.  Please call 1-800-733-2767 or visit REDCROSSBLOOD.org to schedule an appointment.

WELCOME REIGHAN BRIANNE SWEENEY   Ss. Peter and Paul warmly welcomed Reighan Sweeney, daughter of Brian & Kelsey Sweeney into our parish family on Sunday, June 6th.  Reighan was baptized by Fr. John following the 10:00 A.M. Mass.  May God continue to bless her and her family and may Ss. Peter and Paul be a source of faithful support for her family.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS will not meet this Tuesday, June 15th due to the Blood Drive, however the meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday, June 16th at 7:00 P.M. in the Parish Hall.

ELEMENTARY DIRECTOR OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION   We are presently looking for an Elementary DRE.  This is a paid position of $20 per hour.  If you are interested or have questions about the position, please contact Fr. John by email (FrJohnGibbons@gmail.com) or by cell phone (814-935-3349).

PARKING LOT SEALING   The tentative schedule for sealing the Church parking lot will be the week of June 21st, depending on the weather.  This will be done Monday through Friday and will not interfere with weekend Masses and we hope to have our normal weekday Masses.  More details to follow as we get closer.

COMMUNITY ACTION has indicated to the Knights of Columbus that they have a current need for non-food items such as household cleaning supplies, cleansers, detergents and disposable diapers and wipes.  Soaps and personal hygiene items are also being requested.  As always, food donations are always gratefully accepted.  All items can be placed in the blue buckets in the back of the Church.  Thank you for your continued generosity.

ALTOONA CURVE BASEBALL / 3rd BASE PICNIC AREA   An evening out at the Altoona Curve is being planned for Sunday, August 1st at 6:00 P.M.  We have reserved the 3rd Base Picnic Area which will seat 50 people.  A sign-up sheet, to see if we have enough interest in attending this game, has been placed on the Cry Room shelf.  Cost per ticket will be $8.00.  You do not have to pay at this time, we are just looking to see if there is enough that will attend.  When we attended two years ago, a great time of fellowship and fun was had by all.  You must provide your own transportation.

FALL FEST   Plans for our upcoming Fall Fest on Sunday, October 24th are starting and all parishioners are being asked to help make this event a success.  This will be an event that will help bring the parish closer together, allow us to show our hospitality to others and to raise money for the Parish Improvement Campaign.  We will need help from as many parishioners as possible.  The following are some of the ways that you and your family can make this day a great success:  Donate baskets to be raffled, donate gift cards, sell raffle tickets and donate your time to help setup, cleanup or work during the day.  Please mark your calendars now for a day of fun and fellowship.
