STEWARDSHIP IN FAITH Thank you for your continued support and generosity to our Parish.  The collection for this past weekend was: Offering $3,593.00, Votive Candles $74.00, Christmas Club $69.00, Improvement Fund $80.00, St. Vincent Strambi $258.00 and Ash Wednesday $618.00.  The Tithing check for last weekend was $359.30 and was donated to the Little Bags of Sunshine.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS & ADORATION will be celebrated Friday evenings during Lent at 7:00 P.M.  Adoration for 30 minutes will follow Stations.  Due to the Covid, booklets will be provided for you and it is encouraged that you take them home and bring them back each week so that we do not have to print more. 

“40 CANS for LENT”   The following are ongoing items needed by the Food Bank for our “40 Cans for Lent” collection:  Soups, Juices, Rice, Cereal, Flour, Sugar, Ramen-type Noodles, Cakes Mixes, Brownie Mixes, Pie Fillings, Jello, Coffee, Tea, Hamburger Helper, Tuna Helper, Macaroni & Cheese, Canned Vegetables, Mayonnaise, Miracle Whip, Ketchup, Mustard, Salad Dressings, Spices, Soda Crackers/Saltines, Powdered Hot Chocolate Mix and other Instant Drink Mixes.  Cans of food may be dropped off in the back of the Church now through Holy Thursday.  The official goal for this year has been set at 1,500 pounds and as of this past weekend 203 pounds have been donated.

BLOOD DRIVE   Thank you to all those who participated in the Knights of Columbus sponsored Blood Drive on the 16th of February.  A total of 39 units were collected. 

ALTAR & ROSARY SOCIETY will meet on Tuesday, March 9th at 7:00 P.M. in the Parish Hall.  Topics to be discussed are new member recruitment, fundraisers and other relevant topics.  Members and those new members wishing to join are encouraged to attend.   New ideas are always welcomed.  The Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 P.M.

GRATITUDE MESSAGES   The following are parishioner’s gratitude messages:

  1. That my husband & I will be getting our vaccine shots and none of our family has gotten the virus.
  2. God’s greatest gift – LOVE!!
  3. That our Church is open and we can gather in Praise of God this Lent.
  4. Wonderful grandchildren and loving Church family.
  5. The blessings of prayers from friends, in my time of need and for Fr. & Deacon Jerry.
